I also support this in hope of Tiberium Sun, and Red Alert 2 remasters (including expansions) More demand for this remaster, means more of a chance for more.īut lets be real, you don't really care do you? You just wanted to post something to belittle this project, and belittle the people supporting it. He is one of my biggest influences in music (especially from the video game section of music) Thus I support his remaster of the music, and I want a singed copy of the soundtrack. Mod support - source code released (I am sure there will be many versions of how the game looks given just a little time)Īll missions/FMV from console versions, and expansion packs Originally posted by Lachra:Because we don't agree with you that the graphics look "absolutely awful." I know there is a vocal minority here on the steam forums that all but obsess over how "awful" the graphics are. What it is not is a faithfull and full version of what the original games it is advertising as, and it never will be, pretty sure they in fact never intended to be that Sound like you don't know what a "game" is, OpenRA is a full functional game for sure. It's a fan project, and the only thing you can really use it for is multiplayer sessions with friends you can trust not to cheat. The AI is completely useless and will just stop fighting for no apparent reason, you have to copy the FMV and music from your original discs because including it would be illegal, and there's no actual campaign structure to take you from one mission to the next. Impressive work for a bunch of volunteers but it's not a game you can sit down and play from start to finish, and it probably never will be. If you download and try it instead of just making assumptions, you'll see that OpenRA is a (mostly) working engine with skins for C&C, RA and Dune2000, plus a few of the campaign missions.
